The detailed design and construction contract included a 500m3 capacity usable drinking water storage reservoir at Longwood WTW, pipework connections, scour and overflow.
Speak to Our TeamThe contract replaced existing borehole pumps, with the new borehole pumps configured that treated water could be pumped directly to the network bypassing the reservoir and the booster station in the event that the new Reservoir and network booster station were out of operation.
Works included a High-lift network pumping station kiosk for the Longwood WSZ (Water Supply Zone), Integration into existing WSZ, Modifications to existing chlorine dosing and control system, provision of Chlorine monitoring system, automation and control including modifications to the existing SCADA/HMI system. Installation of Solar PV Panel and associated site works including landscaping, security fencing and surface water drainage system
