This scheme involved the installation of a new siphon through the existing dam embankment in an environmentally sensitive area.

Works included the construction of a new Priming Chamber, Scour Chamber and associated pipework along with refurbishment works to the By Wash Channel.
Specialist dive teams were deployed during the underwater laying of the siphon. Extensive survey work was carried out to facilitate the safe delivery of the works along with a Bathymetric Survey of the reservoir.
