It also included a 2 mm fine screening plant upstream of MBRs, the upgrade of the existing PST to WIMES standard, and a selector tank consistent with mixing and flow splitting.
In addition, new MBR installation with increased surface area, new aeration, backwash system, recycle pump & chemical dosing, MBR cleaning bath for chemical soak, MCERT flow measurement chart, MBR MCC with ICA upgrade and Storm tank modifications. A phased construction programme was required to maintain operation and treatment from the existing plant during construction of the new works.
