Portballintrae Harbour Improvements
Severe corrosion had been identified in the existing sheet piles which formed the harbour wall. This contract installed a new sheet pile harbour wall and replaced the harbour deck.

The existing slipway structure was inadequate and strengthening works were completed to ensure its future stability.
Works included phased demolition and disposal of existing harbour deck, construction of new sheet piled harbour wall, capping beam, Reinforced Concrete harbour decking, steps, stainless steel ladders, fenders and mooring points, harbour lighting and amenities including outdoor shower and boat wash provided. The scope also extended to slip way refurbishment, works which included Scheduled Monument Consent.
