Moneymore WTW is located on the outskirts of Moneymore village in Co. Derry and is within an area significantly impacted by High Water Demand issues.

Moneymore Ground Water Abstraction (GWA) was developed in order to bolster treated water supply through use of Ground water at this existing Service Reservoir site. The project was the first of its kind for northern ireland water, an off-site build of a modular WTW facility, that was designed to treat raw water, from ground water source, to achieve the specified water quality targets whilst also benefiting from renewable energy (Solar) to provide a significant source of the power requirement on the site.
BSG provided multi-disciplinary design, project and supply chain management and all civil engineering, process and MEICA, temporary works, phased build, test, commission and operation of the new Water Treatment Works.
