Pipelines

BSG have completed the Design &  Construction and Build only of numerous Pipelines.

These have included rising mains both foul water and clean water, and Gravity mains foul and surface water. We have also carried out a large number of minor works, improvements to existing sewerage pipelines including lining of existing sewers, CCTV and de silting works. We have completed schemes from £1,500.00 to over £3,000,000.00

Armagh DAP

Value: £3m

Armagh DAP is a major £3million programme of sewer improvement work in the Armagh area. Included in this scheme is a total 4.8km of upgrade to the local sewerage system which reduces the risk of flooding in the area and also improve the quality of the local rivers. It also includes the upgrade of the existing Newry Road Wastewater Pumping Station. The work will not only meet NIEA requirements, but will also allow for future development within Armagh city for the next 30 years.

Lisburn DAP

Value: £0.5m

Lisburn DAP is a £0.5m improvement scheme – January 15 – Oct 15. The improvements incorporated 2 No. hydraulic upgrade schemes and 18 No. environmental schemes to upgrade or close Combined Sewer Overflows (CSO’s), effectively removing 18 Unsatisfactory Intermittent Discharges (UID’S). The sewer upgrades happened in two locations in Lisburn
Linenhall Street – 261lm of 600mm diameter sewer pipe and 17lm of 375mm diameter sewer pipe along with new manholes
Antrim Road – 270lm of 450mm diameter sewer pipe, 140lm of 600mm diameter sewer pipe, and 4lm of 150mm diameter sewer pipe along with new manholes

Ballymartin & Blackrock

Value: £1.75m

Ballymartin & Blackrock November 2015 till Present. The work includes;
Phase 1 – construct Ballymartin Sewerage Pump Station No 1 and 4.4km 180mm dia pumping main to Annalong WwTW, and,
Phase 2 – construct Ballymartin Sewerage Pump Station no 2 and 1.7km of 110mm dia pumping main to connect to the existing network .
The work also includes the construction of approximately 1.1km of gravity main of various sizes. The work is being completed on highly trafficked roads and to depths exceeding 4.0m deep.

Alleyhill SR to Doochrock SR (Phase 1)

Value: £1.3m

This scheme involved the installation of 3.6km of 400mm diameter trunk water main to replace a section of main between Alleyhill SR and Doochrock SR near Ederney, Co.Fermanagh. The pipelaying work was primarily located within Forest Service land, including access roads and Fire breaks between Forest Vegetation, and also a section laid within public road.

Castlerea & Environs WSS

Value: €7m

This scheme involved the installation of 23km of Trunk Watermain ranging in size between 300mm and 450mm diameter in public roads and private land from Ballyhaunis, Co.Mayo, to Garranlahan, Co.Roscommon and finishing in Williamstown, Co.Galway. Further work involved construction of a new Pumping Station at Ballyhaunis SR and a new Pumping Station/Chlorine Dosing facility/New 2.8ML Reservoir at Garranlahan SR site.
