This project for Uisce Éireann in Kinsealy, Co. Dublin involved construction of a new WwPS and Storm storage facility along with associated Control kiosk and onsite welfare provision.
Speak to Our TeamThe structure of the Wet well and Storm Tank was constructed using a Precast Concrete system which provided significant Health and Safety benefits through a reduction in working at height requirements. Programme timescales were also reduced as the precast panels were formed offsite during the earthworks stage. Carbon Reduction benefits were realised due to the reduced requirement for delivery of concrete to the site.
The pumping station passed forward flow through a new 1.8km 225mm diameter rising main laid using trenchless techniques within the local road network and with a discharge connection made to the existing 1500mm diameter Northern Fringe Sewer. A new section 410m length of 300mm inlet gravity sewer and 100m of 375mm Overflow gravity sewer were also installed.
Upon completion, this new facility allowed for the progression of a significant housing developments within this area of North Dublin.
