Speak to Our TeamThis contract included innovative PHRAGMIFILTRE PROCESS, pilots scheme for NI Water. The works involved the construction of a vertical reed-bed treatment system and decommissioning of existing works.
Flows gravitate to the works via a new gravity sewer. The new WwTW site comprises an inlet distribution pumping station, 4nr vertical flow Phragmifiltre reed beds & 2nr Saturated Vertical Flow, Forced Bed Aeration beds. The inlet distribution pumping station houses four pumps, a dedicated pump per first stage phragmifiltre reed bed. The second stage beds forced bed aeration is served by duty standby blowers. Control kiosk including MCC with PLC and HMI.
